About Me

My photo
Virginia Smith
I'm first, a wife, mother and grandmother. Second, I'm a quilter, sewing instructor and seamstress. I enjoy all kinds of crafts, though time to indulge in them is limited. I am a longarm quilter now, though I did spend many years as a seamstress. I love quilting and have made many quilts both for myself and loved ones as well as commissioned by clients. Want to make it yourself? I teach sewing as well as teach quilting and rent time on my longarm. You could learn every step of the way, if you want. I believe that learning to do things for yourself is very liberating and, gives you incredible freedom and a phenomenal sense of accomplishment. I love teaching people of all ages to quilt and sew and empowering them with that skill. I will be happy to discuss questions you may have. Feel free to e-mail me at showmesewing@gmail.com
