This little shirt was made from the stikeoff or sample yardage. That is when the company prints off a small amount of the fabric before doing a full run. We had a little less than half a yard when the Burda pattern #9490 called for more than a yard. I simply made it a little less full and made the straps from a different, complimentary fabric. All fabric is from Michael Miller. The main fabric used was Swan Lake - midnight and the complimentary fabric I used for the straps was Bitty Dots - Luna. I made this for Trenna Travis Design Studio and it appears with the other items I've been posting in the Spring 2015 Michael Miller catalog.
