Each year there’s a challenge from the guild president to make a quilt following the same criteria - color scheme, type of block, etc. this year it was black, white and one bright. I chose a Shadow Box (I’ve seen other names for it as well) pattern and used a green fabric as my bright.
I was excited to use one of my recently digitized edge to edge quilting designs called Baroque Filigree quilted in Irish Spring Glide Thread. I may very well make another pair similar to this for a future grandchild. I really like the way it turned out, even if I didn’t win the prize.
