Cathy’s Pink/Gray RosieGirl Converge Quilt

Two months after making they Gray Converge Quilt designed by RosieGirl, Cathy made another using the same pattern and different fabrics. It finished at a 61/62” square.

I, again, quilted straight lines 1” apart using MonoPoly thread on the top and Sterling Glide 60 thread on the back.

Cathy's Gray RosieGirl Converge Quilt

Cathy made this quilt from a kit from RosieGirl. It finished at a 61/62" square.

She wanted straight line quilting every inch as the quilt on the kit was quilted. I used MonoPoly Matte White thread on top with Gray Bottom Line thread on the back.

Brenda's Twister Tool Top Refugee Quilt

Brenda donates another top for me to quilt and donate to the refugees. This top, or at least the center portion of this top out to the dark teal border with the corner squares, was made by her. I added the 3 outer borders to increase the size from a lap quilt to a twin size.

Using the rest of the fabric I used for the borders, I pieced the back. Even though I am not one that gravitates to browns and tans, I love how these colors work together!

I quilted it with cream Glide and Glide 60 threads using an enlarged Labyrinth pantograph from Urban Elementz. You can tell it's hand driven (not by a computer) because it's virtually impossible to get really straight diagonal lines without either using a computer or rulers (which is used in the front of the machine, while pantographs are used from the back). Even though, I like this  design.
