Dorothy's Bright Pink, Purple, Blue, Orange, Green Twin Quilt

The second quilt Dorothy asked me to quilt. This is the twin size. Scrappy back below.

I quilted this with Glide Warm Gray on the top and Glide 60 Cool Gray 3 thread on the back using the Knit 1 Purl 2 pantograph by Urban Elementz.

She will bind it.

Dorothy's Bright Pink, Purple, Blue, Orange, Green Baby Quilt

The first of two quilts Dorothy asked me to quilt - this one is baby sized. She said she often makes a twin size and with the leftovers, makes a baby size.

She pieces the back so when all is said and done, she does not have to store leftovers.

I quilted this with Glide/Glide 60 Cool Gray 3 thread on top and back using the Dear Heart pantograph by Urban Elementz. She will bind it.

Sam's Graduation T-shirt Quilt

Here is a T-shirt/memory quilt I made for Sam, commissioned by his mom, Melissa, as graduation present. The quilting is a large meander in MonoPoly thread so as to not take anything away from the shirts. The thread on the back is light blue to blend in.

Black, White, Red Quilt Guild Charity Quilt for Thimble and Thread Quilt Guild

Twin sized charity quilt top made by one of the members in the Thimble and Thread Quilt Guild. I quilted and bound it. Pantograph is called “Hall of Mirrors” from Urban Elementz.

Thread was Glide on top and Glide 60 on the bottom, both Candy Apple red. I really like the contrasting thread on this.

Gayle's Bright Colored Charity Quilt

This beautiful bright scrappy quilt top was made by Gayle.

I quilted it using Glide Celery thread on the top and Glide 60 Cool Gray on the back. I did wavy cross hatches over most of the quilt but tried out several different designs and fills on the blocks on the left and right sides of the quilt. Here are the close ups of the left and right sides.

The block above on the right and below on the left shows how the rest of the quilt is quilted in a wavy crosshatch.

I threw together a scrappy back with similar colors.

And there it is! The 26th Refugee Quilt I've finished thus far.

Owls and Foxes Charity Quilt

Another charity quilt I quilted for the Bits 'n' Pieces Quilt Guild. The top was made by one of its members.

I quilted it using Glide lavender thread on the top and Glide 60 cool gray thread on the back. The owls and foxes asked to be stitched around and then echo quilting around them.

The white sashing has some fun loops and the outside border mimicked ever so slightly the design in the fabric it’s on.

Native American Panel Quilt for Charity

Charity quilt I quilted for the Bits 'n' Pieces Quilt Guild.

It is a panel quilt, so there was no piecing involved.

I quilted it by adding texture the design in the print using MicroQuilter light yellow thread.

Pink Scrappy Squares Refugee Quilt

I made this quilt top some time ago as I was saving up to buy my longarm, from fabric and 4" pre-cut fabric squares given to me by my sister.

As many of you know, I keep my long arm at my mothers house. I try to go over there every day and do a little something. It kills two birds with one stone. If I have to go over and quilt every day, I very easily can make sure she is doing well and see if she needs anything. The drawback is that I can quilt faster than it takes to make the tops. So I decided to draw the time to quilt this one out, and do something that takes more time - ruler work.

This is quilted in light pink thread (So Fine and Bottom Line) using the Border Buddy Circles Ruler and mini and regular 4n1 rulers. I also used a fluffy polyester batting.

Red, White, and Flowers/Floral Michael Miller Fabric

I’m putting this toddler (42”x54”) in my For Sale bin.

It is made with good materials (Michael Miller fabric, Hobbs 80/20 batting, etc) and pieced precisely (as I always do).

I had fun quilting this using white Glide and white Glide 60 threads. Each square has a different design and the white sashing has a fun loop. Below are pictures from the back which shows the quilting better than the front.
