Cathy's Star Tree Skirt

This is a tree skirt Cathy made.

Not only did I get to use my new computer/robotics system for the design, but got to learn how to make no-sew-zones, thus making the quilting fit only the space of the actual top rather than a big rectangle that included the tree skirt. Lovin’ my iQ (IntelliQuilter)!

White Glide/Glide 60 thread.

Tina's Hearts and Rabbits Baby Quilt in Blue, Tan, Cream

Tina has another grandchild coming, so she whipped out another quilt for the next one, this time in blue. I quilted it the same as the last, using Dear Heart pantograph from Urban Elementz and white Glide thread.

Emerald's Scrappy Star Charity Quilt

My sister, Emerald, designed and made this scrappy star quilt for me to give to charity.

Rather than doing a quick edged edge on this, I took my time and made it custom with each star being quilted differently. It was lots of fun too quilt. I used a variety of Glide thread, changing the color for each star.

She has a few changes she said she would make to the pattern, but I really like how it turned out.

 

Sue's Cream and Pastels Star Quilt - Blue, Purple
