I-Spy baby quilt for fundraising auction

I'm really excited about our church youth group's dinner and auction this Saturday evening.  They have only one fundraiser each year to try and raise enough funds to send all of the youth to their various camps - girl's camp, scout camp and high adventure scout camp.  This year we have more youth than ever before, that I am aware of, and the high adventure camp is not cheap.  It's going to cost in the neighborhood of $9000 to get them all to camp.

I am trying to do my best to help out, especially with 3 kids needing to go.  I've committed to auction off sewing lessons and an embroidered fleece blanket. Those are easy.  Another thing I'm donating is this I-Spy quit I made for the occasion.

I love the way it turned out with the colors moving in a rainbow as it spirals out.

The inside dark blue has an aztec type quilting, with the outside border having a similar style, only on a larger scale.  Hope you can see it in the photos.

I've also made some homemade chocolates for Easter.  Monica and Fiona helped me make these and it took us several hours to complete.  I hope they go for a good price.

Here are some other things we made:

Top left is an Oreo Icebox Cake, made by Fiona.
Top right is Lemon Crumble Squares, also by Fiona.
Bottom left is a blueberry pie, made by Emerald.
Bottom right is a French Silk Pie, made by Emerald.

In the back is a Pinata Cake, made by me, Virginia.
Front left is a Kit Kat Cake also made by me.
Bottom right is a pan of Triple Chocolate Bars, made by Monica.

Below is the inside of the pinata cake.  It's cake baked in 2 bowls, the inside hollowed out and filled with candy.  Then it's put together and iced.  When you cut into it, candy spills out.

This is a crunch time for Trenna.  I whipped out a pair of pj pants on Tuesday, sewed a dress and a half yesterday, need to finish up that dress and make another today. Then there will be a purse/bag and pillows to do.  Emerald is making a pair of men's golf shorts. All that has to be done before next Tuesday's shoot.  Then I need to make Monica's prom dress before her Friday night prom.  If I don't get on to show more things, know that it's because I'm busy sewing and will post as soon as I can breath again.
